Viste is a real estate service website that blends traditional property listings with modern short-form video content. Designed for buyers, renters, and agents, it offers advanced search tools, map integration, and a TikTok-style video feed to explore properties in an engaging and interactive way.
Overview
Viste is a feature-rich real estate service website built to transform the way people explore, buy, sell, and rent properties. Designed with both usability and visual engagement in mind, Viste combines traditional property listing tools with short-form video content to deliver a more immersive browsing experience. The platform allows users to search properties by location, price, and type, while also exploring property walkthroughs and agent promos through a dedicated TikTok-style video section. Viste bridges the gap between static listings and dynamic storytelling, offering users a more connected and real-time feel to real estate discovery.
Solution
To build a unique and engaging platform, we developed a powerful property listing system backed by advanced filters, detailed property pages, agent dashboards, and secure inquiry forms. The standout feature of Viste is its video content integration a TikTok-inspired section where users can scroll through real estate videos showcasing properties, local highlights, and agent advice. This feature not only boosts user engagement but also allows agents to market listings in a more compelling, personal way. We used video streaming tools and a custom player to ensure smooth performance across devices, while the rest of the site supports favorites, saved searches, mobile responsiveness, and map-based navigation.
Process
We started by researching user behavior and analyzing top real estate platforms to identify key features and pain points. The goal was to combine powerful property search functionality with a modern, video-driven user experience. We collaborated with real estate professionals to define the ideal user journey for both buyers and agents.
Research
We analyzed top real estate platforms and social video trends to identify a user need for more visual, engaging property content. Feedback from agents and clients confirmed the demand for video-first property promotion and fast, mobile-friendly browsing.
Development
We built the front end with React and Next.js for performance and SEO, and the back end using Node.js and MongoDB. The TikTok-like video section was implemented with a custom vertical scroll interface, video player, and admin tools for uploading and managing clips.
Testing
The team tested all user flows including video playback, property filtering, mobile responsiveness, and dashboard interactions. We conducted usability testing to ensure users could easily switch between browsing properties and watching video content without friction.
Deploy
We deployed the front end to Vercel and the back end to AWS, using CI/CD pipelines for smooth and secure updates. Post-launch monitoring tools track performance, user behavior, and engagement metrics, especially within the video module to optimize future features.
Process
During development, we used React and Next.js for the front end and Node.js with MongoDB for the backend. A TikTok-style video module was custom-built to showcase short real estate clips, integrated seamlessly with listings and dashboards. After thorough testing and optimization, the platform was deployed using Vercel and AWS with full mobile responsiveness.
